NOTE - can be used to replace the early cast clutch master on Landcruiser BJ73 BJ74 FJ73 models 10/85-12/89 however the clutch line pipe end will need modifying to fit
Clutch Master Cylinder (boosted type) for the RHD HZJ7x & PZJ7x series Land Cruiser - 3 bolt mounting.
The clutch master cylinder for the BJ70, BJ71, BJ73, BJ74 is no longer available.
This part can be used to replace worn out clutch master cylinder units on the vacuum boosted BJ70, BJ71, BJ73, BJ74 Series RHDs, where the booster mounts behind the firewall, as the clutch masters for those units are no longer in production.
There is no provision to mount the heat shield; you will have to zip tie or otherwise secure it differently.
The fluid outlet port is out of rotation when compared to the BJ part.
You should replace the slave cylinder at the same time. Matching clutch slave (release) cylinders:
The HZJ part number is: 31401-60060 (Toyota, HZJ76/77/78/79, HDJ78/79, PZJ70 from 1/1990)
The BJ74 part number is: 073-001217

Replaces and upgrades for BJ7x: 31401-60022 (BJ70, BJ71 with clutch booster, 10/1987 - 1/1990) and 31401-60042 (BJ74) – see the pipe-end note above
