FJ40 / 45 Turn Housing

The #4040 turned axle housing for the Land Cruiser FJ40 and FJ45 models is either 14 degree or 19 degree rotation.

Please measure the pinion to determine which degree will be required.

We will relocate new spring perches on the top of the housing (spring over).

We also clock the knuckles on either housing end to retain camber angle.

We reposition and fill the stock filler/inspection plug and add a gusset for additional strength.

The stock vent on the axle tube is removed and replaced with a fitting that allows for a length of tubing to be installed for deep-water crossing.
